  • From Burnout to Alignment: How Leslie Beck Rebuilt Her Business Around Purpose

Leslie Beck had built a successful real estate brokerage in Denver, but in 2024, after a year of soul-searching and health challenges, she realized something wasn’t working. Her business no longer felt aligned with her purpose. So, she made a bold move: she closed her brokerage, joined milehimodern, and launched Divorce Curious™, a workshop series and coaching program for women navigating divorce and new beginnings. In this episode, Leslie shares: What triggered her transformation (and how a 3 am wake-up call played a role) Why walking away from something successful is sometimes the most aligned decision How she combines real estate with divorce coaching to support women holistically The importance of values, messaging, and knowing who you’re meant to serve Her approach isn’t just white-glove real estate, it’s full-spectrum support: from home buying to healing to personal styling. Leslie's story is proof that you don’t have to do everything, you just have to do what’s yours to do.   Connect with Leslie: Instagram: @leslielovesdenver Website: divorcecurious.icu Brokerage: milehimodern.com Rate, Review, Follow & Share! • Meet the New Look of Team Wunder

Where Local Expertise Meets Global Power: Introducing Team Wunder’s New Brand Big news from the Maine and New Hampshire Seacoast! Team Wunder has officially revealed their new brand identity, and it’s the perfect blend of RE/MAX’s refreshed look and their deep roots in the local coastal community. I met Robert Coles and Don Wunder when I first entered the real estate industry 17 years ago. I was new to RE/MAX, and they had just taken ownership of RE/MAX Realty One. So when Robert reached out and said, “We’re ready to evolve the Team Wunder brand, and we’d love your help,”  I couldn’t have been more excited. It felt like coming full circle. We set out to create a visual identity that felt elevated yet familiar, something that reflected the decades of expertise, trust, and integrity that Team Wunder is known for. The result is a clean, confident logo suite rooted in the updated RE/MAX brand system, creating cohesion with the larger network while honoring their distinct brand and reputation along the Maine and New Hampshire Seacoast. Here’s how we brought it to life: Modern Luxury: The new visual identity captures the essence of the team: high touch, high service, high quality, delivered with casual elegance. Minimalist typography, softened by refined spacing and subtle curves, creates a modern and timeless look. The result is a brand that feels luxurious without being flashy, evoking calm confidence, approachability, and quiet strength. RE/MAX Brand Integration: We thoughtfully incorporated key elements of the updated RE/MAX brand, like the iconic red color palette, newly added black and creamy white, and their new modern design structure, so Team Wunder aligns seamlessly with the global powerhouse they’re part of. The design balances national brand recognition with a deeply local sensibility. A Brand That Works Everywhere: The final delivery includes a full logo suite, social media, digital file types, and a print-ready color system. From listing brochures and presentation folders to swag, signage, and digital marketing, Team Wunder’s new brand is built for consistency across every touchpoint. This rebrand is more than a new look. It’s a declaration of who they are: hyper-local experts with a stellar reputation, decades of experience, and the strength of one of the most recognized names in real estate behind them. Are you interested in working with us? We'd love to know more about your business and how we can make YOUR brand shine. Book an introductory call with Christine here!

  • The AI Revolution and What it Means for Your Personal Brand

In Episode 110 of the Know Like Trust podcast, I sat down with the brilliant Seth Price, Marketer, Author, and now the Chief Marketing Officer at RealScout. If you’ve been around the real estate space for a while, you know Seth has a sharp mind for branding, systems, and strategic growth. But this time, we talked about the AI revolution and what it means for real estate professionals right now. Seth and I dove into what it really means to build a personal brand in today’s world, one where AI is reshaping how we search, market, and connect. He makes a strong case that brand is no longer optional. In a world of auto-generated results and intelligent agents, it’s the only thing that keeps you recognizable. We talked about tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Seth broke down how he uses each one. He also opened up about how RealScout is using machine learning behind the scenes to create exceptional consumer experiences and help agents stay ahead of the curve. Connect with Seth. • Creativity is the New Currency: AI, Real Estate, and the Power of Human Connection

If you're wondering whether AI is a friend or foe to real estate professionals, Keith Robinson has the answer: it’s a friend, if you’re ready for it. In Episode 109 of the Know Like Trust Podcast , I sat down with Keith, the dynamic Chief Strategic Officer at NextHome, to talk about what agents really  need to know about AI. It’s about freeing you up to be more creative, more efficient, and more human. Keith shares the importance of finding low-risk ways to play  with AI (he built an event bot named Maxie and a flip-finder bot named Amy), and why creativity is the currency of the future. “We’re still human beings,” Keith says. “We’ve spent more time around a campfire than we have around a computer screen. And when it comes to big decisions like buying or selling a home, we still need trusted guides.” 3 Takeaways for Real Estate Professionals: Stay Ready:  When interest rates drop, buyers will return. Will you be ready? Start Simple:  Open ChatGPT before Google and explore what it can do. Double Down on Your Sphere:  If your sphere-of-influence plan isn’t a 9 or 10 out of 10, fix that first—before chasing shiny tech. AI isn’t a replacement—it’s a reveal . It shows where you can show up smarter, faster, and more fully yourself. Take a listen and let me know what you think. Connect with Keith. • Embracing AI Without Losing Your Voice with Katie Lance

If you’ve been wondering how AI fits into your marketing world or if you’ve started using it but worry about sounding like a robot, this episode is for you. In Episode 108 of the Know Like Trust podcast, I sat down (again!) with the brilliant Katie Lance, and we had an honest, tactical conversation about how AI tools like ChatGPT and Canva are changing the game for content creation in real estate. Here are a few of my favorite takeaways: Use AI to Save Time (Not Your Voice):  Katie’s approach is all about treating ChatGPT like your assistant, not your ghostwriter. She uses it to generate ideas, polish content, and repurpose transcripts. Customize ChatGPT to Sound Like You :  We talked about setting up your ChatGPT memory and personalization settings (it’s surprisingly easy) so your brand voice stays consistent. Yes, you can even tell it to avoid words like “crush” or “dominate” if that’s not your vibe. Respect the Human Factor:  Katie reminded us that no amount of AI can replace showing up . Your audience still wants to see your face, hear your voice, and connect with the real you. AI just helps you show up faster and more consistently. A Few Favorite Tools:  ChatGPT, Canva’s AI features, Descript for video editing, and Google’s Gemini for more research-oriented tasks. Katie’s bold prediction? The agent who doesn’t embrace AI might find themselves replaced by one who does. The tools are here, and they’re powerful but only if we use them with intention. If you're ready to work smarter, save hours each week, and still keep your marketing unmistakably you , this episode is your new go-to. Listen now, and let us know what you think! • Cooking Up a Personal Brand with Paul Zweben

In the crowded world of real estate, it can be difficult to stand out. Many agents sound the same, market the same way, and struggle to differentiate themselves. But not Paul Zweben. Paul, a former chef and restaurateur, has turned his deep love for food into his real estate superpower. On Episode 106 of Know Like Trust for Real Estate , Paul shares how he seamlessly blends his passion for cooking with his business, making him unforgettable in an industry where being different is everything. After spending 30 years in the restaurant business, running multiple Manhattan eateries, Paul made a bold move. He left the kitchen to join his wife in real estate. • Stop Overthinking Your Real Estate Brand Voice. Erica Reitman Tells You How

The internet is noisy. There are more entrepreneurs, real estate agents, and business owners than ever, all vying for attention. So, how do you stand out? I had an incredible conversation with branding powerhouse Erica Reitman on the latest Know Like Trust pod. Erica is the kind of person who tells it like it is—and thank goodness for that. She’s built a thriving business by showing up exactly as she is, and in Episode 105, she’s giving you permission to do the same. One of the biggest takeaways from our chat? Your brand voice isn’t something you “find.” It’s something you develop.   Can I get a "YES, PLEASE, THANK YOU, and TELL ME MORE?!" Here's how: ✅ Show up consistently, even when it feels uncomfortable ✅ Lean into what lights you up (not what’s trending) ✅ Ditch the idea that you need to appeal to everyone ✅ Experiment, fail, tweak, and try again ✅ Give away value without fear—because trust is built through generosity Erica has a bold, unfiltered style that might not be for everyone—and that’s the point. She’s built a business that attracts her people while repelling the wrong ones. And guess what? You can do the same. If you’re tired of feeling like just another face in the crowd, this episode is a must-listen. And if you’re up for the challenge, Erica invites you to take 30 days to experiment with your content—without obsessing over likes, comments, or followers. Just show up, try things out, and see what feels good. • The Power of Authenticity: What Real Estate Pros Can Learn from a Former Sports CMO

One of the biggest challenges in marketing—whether you're running a brokerage, building a personal brand, or leading a team—is cutting through the noise. If you've ever wondered how to make your marketing stand out without sounding like everyone else, this pod episode is for you. I sat down with my longtime friend Wayne Partello , whose career journey is nothing short of extraordinary. From nightclub DJ  to CMO of the San Diego Padres , and now co-founder of Cuento Marketing , Wayne has spent decades mastering the art of brand storytelling. One of my favorite takeaways from our conversation? The key to a strong brand isn’t just about visuals or catchy slogans. It’s about knowing exactly what you want to be known for and reinforcing that message at every touchpoint. Here’s what Wayne had to say: “Anybody can sell a product, a house, a service. But what makes YOU different? Your story. Your passion. The way you show up for your clients. That’s what people remember.” What This Means for Real Estate Professionals As a real estate agent, you might think your job is to sell homes. But in reality, your job is to build trust . People aren’t just hiring you for your market knowledge, they’re choosing you because they connect with your story, your approach, and the way you make them feel. 📌 How to Apply This Today: ✔️ Define what you want to be known for. Is it your deep local knowledge? Your ability to simplify complex transactions? Your expertise with downsizers or first-time buyers? Get specific. ✔️ Show your personality in your marketing. Whether it’s through your social media, emails, or client interactions , let people see the real you. ✔️ Share stories—not just listings. People connect with experiences, not sales pitches . The more you highlight real client stories, the more relatable (and unforgettable) you become. This episode is packed with actionable insights that can help real estate agents, entrepreneurs, and business leaders  refine their brand voice and build lasting trust. • Master Personal Branding with Wendy Forsythe

As we step into 2025, the real estate industry continues to evolve, and personal branding is more important than ever. To kick off the year, I had the pleasure of speaking with Wendy Forsythe, Chief Marketing Officer at eXp Realty. Wendy has over 25 years of experience and a passion for helping agents build trust and connection through their brands. Here’s a glimpse into our conversation: Your Personal Brand is YOU! Wendy emphasized that personal branding starts with authenticity. Forget trying to mimic others—lean into your unique story. Whether it's your hobbies, professional expertise, or daily experiences, sharing your truth helps build client trust. Content Creation Made Simple. Wendy encourages agents to start with two simple pillars: Answer common questions buyers and sellers ask. Share day-to-day experiences in your professional and personal life. She also highlighted eXp Realty’s partnership with Canva, which provides agents with the tools to design and share engaging content without needing advanced graphic design skills. Consistency is Key. Personal branding is a marathon, not a sprint. Wendy reminded us that trust builds over time and with consistent action. Her advice: start, let go of perfection, and stay the course. We also discussed the importance of educating consumers about the expertise involved in real estate transactions. Agents can challenge misconceptions and demonstrate their value by showcasing the behind-the-scenes work. Listen to the episode to hear Wendy’s complete insights and actionable tips.
